Wednesday 17th August
Price: Adult £19, Child 5-15 £15, Child U5 £10

Gratitude
must be extended to Douglas Carswell MP for kindly arranging this visit for
us. The tour of the House is limited strictly to 40 people, so to avoid
disappointment, book now!A tour of the Houses of Commons and Lords is highly
recommended. See for yourself where our democracy has its heart, and learn
much about its comings and goings, the history, events and customs of
Parliament. Our tour will take circa 1¼ hrs and will culminate through the
magnificent Westminster Hall, boasting the largest medieval hammer-beam roof
in Northern Europe, commissioned in 1393 by Richard II. Finally, there’s a
chance to visit the Gift Shop! From the time we leave Parliament at circa
1.30pm until we leave London at 5.30pm the time is yours to spend at your
leisure. You could relax alongside the river and watch the world go by, you
could stroll or do some sightseeing. If you would like me to book other
nearby London attractions (at additional cost) such as the London Eye or
London Aquarium, please do let me know. Alternatively you could stroll to
any of the galleries and museums where entry is usually free (except for
special exhibitions).
There
are at least 9 spaces on this trip for travel to London only.
Timings: We
leave at 8am, Houses of Parliament tour mid-day, and return at around 8pm.
