Welcome

Dear Friend and Traveller,                                                                   February 2012 

Thank you to everyone who was able to support our trips in 2011.  As a result of your fine efforts, we raised almost £1,300 in support of the financial commitment to the loans which helped to build the Welcome Centre Community Hall at the Baptist Church in Pier Avenue, Clacton on Sea (Registered Charity No. 1135764). 

Here is this year’s itinerary.  We hope that you like what we have to offer.   Please send your booking form to us soon.  Don’t leave it too long, as you may be disappointed if there are no seats left for you.  Just complete the form attached, send us an e-mail, or phone us.  If you can’t book now, then late bookings may be possible, but can’t be guaranteed.  We do have to have some ‘Conditions’ so you know where you stand in various circumstances, and these are attached.  Please send a £5 deposit for each person on each trip that you wish to book.  Cheques may be made payable to ‘Pier Avenue Baptist Church’. 

These trips are open to ALL in the Tendring community and can also be accessed by people from further afield.  Anyone who is able to get to any one of the pick-up points is welcome to join us regardless of where they live or their age, and whether they have any church affiliations or none at all. 

THERE IS NO MEMBERSHIP FOR ANYONE TO BE INVOLVED. 

And to be really helpful to you, even if you and your friends or family don’t board at the same pick-up point – it doesn’t matter.  Just tell us who your group consists of and we will do our very best to ensure that you get to sit together on the coach.  

Our aim is simply to give everyone who comes along an enjoyable, relaxing and comfortable day out and we are very grateful to everyone who joins us and thereby helps our cause.

In addition to the trips advertised here now, we also arrange theatre trips from time to time.  E-mail us if you would like to be added to our mailing list so that you can find out about these as and when they occur.  If you cannot receive e-mails, then phone and we will tell you how to join our postal mailing list.
