WelcomeDear Friend and Traveller, April 2009 Thank you to all of you for patiently waiting for this year’s itinerary. We hope that several of the trips will interest you. It continues to be difficult to arrange affordable trips, but comparing our prices to those of others, we still offer good value for money and as a bonus we still make neighbourhood pick-ups in Tendring (North East Essex - Clacton, Great Clacton, St Osyth, Great Bentley, Colchester) and all the profits go to support the development of the Welcome Centre Community Hall at the Baptist Church in Pier Avenue, Clacton on Sea (which has charitable status). If you wish to join us, please send your booking form in soon. You may also e-mail us, but if you have travelled with us before please note that our e-mail address for 2009 is very slightly different from previously. If you have us in your Contacts list please ensure you change our entry with the new e-mail address. You can copy it from here and paste it into your Contacts list coachtrip@fsmail.net Don't leave booking too long as there may be no seats left on the coach and we don't want you to be disappointed! Alternatively if there are few bookings in advance and we believe a trip may not be viable, then we would have to cancel and that is always a disappointment too. We are flexible. You just need to complete the form attached, send us an e-mail, or phone us. Late bookings are possible, but cannot be guaranteed. We do have to have some ‘Conditions’ so you know where you stand in various circumstances, and this is also attached. Please send us £5 per person as a deposit for each trip you wish to book. Cheques may be made payable to ‘Pier Avenue Baptist Church’. Please note that for the trips to Thursford and Buckingham Palace a larger deposit will be required in advance. Please see the relevant page for information. By supporting our trips you are helping the charitable fundraising of our new ‘Welcome Centre’ Community Hall at Pier Avenue Baptist Church, Clacton on Sea – we still have loans to pay off!! We very grateful for your interest and involvement which helps enormously. Our trips last year raised £552, so a very big thank you goes to everybody for that. On a personal note, we are sorry that again this leaflet comes out later than we would have liked. I have had a very busy few months at work and this, coupled with a desire to spend as much time as possible with our two grandchildren in this early phase of their lives (now 1yr & 18 months), has meant that the coach trips have again taken a bit of a ‘back seat’!
